Pros: Paid Maternity & Paternity leave. 401k matching, insurance
Cons: Will require your 100% dedication. Full-time is 4 days a week 10 hourshifts. If theres a big holiday, you will work 60s. Do not except doctors notes for abscences, late arrivals, early dismissal. You must use your time to leave. No time to cover your absence, your fired. Safety is a joke to them and well as needed mental heath care even though the offer resources for help, they will make it next to difficult to utilize them)

Hold workers accountable, Maintain safe work spaces and practices.

    Salary - | Culture - | Management - | Coworkers - B

Pros: Pay, health benefits, 401k, paid training, tuition assistance, 100% tuition free CDL training, travel opportunities
Cons: Unless you work the 3-12s you don’t really have a work/life balance. Very fast-paced and laborious positions. Hard to excel if you don’t actively engage with management and network.

If you want your employees to care about the business, you have to first care about your employees

  • We All Miss BezosSr Program Manager III | Arlington, VA

    Salary - C | Culture - D | Management - F | Coworkers - C

Pros: The culture of Amazon has taken a nosedive since Bezos left.
Cons: Current culture. Poor and/or toxic leadership. Yearly compensation review is a joke. You're treated as less when you transfer internally to a new role. You're offered crumbs as far as compensation goes.

You're disconnected, and at some point, you stopped caring about the people that helped build, and continue to drive the company.

    Salary - A | Culture - A | Management - B | Coworkers - A

Pros: I enjoy working at Amazon, it's fast paced and we deliver results. I know there's a lot of controversy, but I personally enjoy my team and the level of ownership ICs have. We prioritize the customer at every step of the way.
Cons: The environment is ambiguous. So it may not be ideal for someone who's not a self starter and able to seek to understand and solve problems on their own. The promotion process is complicated and not based on direct work performance or longevity in the role. You may exceed expectations YoY and still take forever to see a promotion through.

  • If experienced go somewhere elseSenior Manager | New York, NY

    Saturday, November 9, 2024

    Salary - D | Culture - F | Management - D | Coworkers - D

Pros: May be a good company for starting your career. However, if experienced you will certainly waste your time. Corporate culture is outdated and heavy. 'Day one' is no longer there, nor is innovation and adaptability. Way behind companies like Microsoft, Google, etc.
Cons: Micromanagement at a mad scale, toxic corporate culture, if in bad team it will become truly horrible. Limited reach of work and limited impact. No real vision for the future. Top leadership all knows one another from way back. Hence hiring in the upper leadership is marked by this, as is the cultish corporate culture of the company.

Too late unless you wan to do real reform and get rid of people who have been with you for many years,

  • Politically charged to the maxSr. Solutions Architect | Seattle, WA

    Salary - B | Culture - D | Management - C | Coworkers - D

Pros: Some really great people in the rank-and-file. I've met some VERY smart people here. LOVE working with customers on new and interesting things.
Cons: The company definitely doesn't practice what it preaches. They selectively apply their leadership principles, and the politics within the leadership circles is atrocious. Directors protecting M2's; M2's protecting M1's; M1's throwing their team under the bus and creating busy work to make themselves look good. Retaliation, harassment, forcing people out are abound here. They " strive to be earth's best employer", yet fabricate things to put people on performance management, move them out, fire them. They are actively practicing ageism, forcing out older, higher-level employees, to replace them with younger, lower-level ones. Experience is not valued. They cause many people to go out on medical leave for stress and anxiety, yet HR doesn't get to the root of things. only lawsuits make them take action.

Manage your people like you would want to be managed. Treat your people with kindness and respect. Be loyal to them, and they'll be loyal to you. Not everything needs to be a doc. Sometimes a discussion is fine.

Pros: -After loadout, you get to be by yourself and listen to music, podcasts or make calls if you have to -Base pay is nice (22.50 per hour) -weekly pay
Cons: -30 30-minute lunch per worked day (not paid, meaning it gets deducted from the total hours you make -You get two 15-minute breaks (which are not deducted). Make sure you take advantage of this, they will send you a rescue if you're falling behind in stops -Work load is a lot with those Rivian EV, they give you 500 packages a day to deliver, a lot of multi-stops and heavy packages -A lot of physical demand for every shift -What do you think is your bathroom?... Exactly, a bottle -Dirty van with time -Pay per hour, if you are done earlier, good for them and not so much for your pocket

try not to be too greedy and pay for the full 10 hour shift

    Salary - B | Culture - C | Management - A | Coworkers - A

Pros: Its a great place to work if you are innovative and want to make things happen and try things out.
Cons: There are lots of tone-deaf decisions at the top that are causing top talent to leave and seek employment elsewhere. Probably the worst out of all the top companies to work at because of the low perks and stupid RTO decisions.

    Stop being stupid.

Pros: Weekly pay, PTO, easy to take time off if needed
