Pros: Extremely good health benefits Good opportunity to connect with people Never truly boring Easy entry into management especially fresh out of college and the base starting pay is good along with a relocation compensation
Cons: No bonuses All evaluation or promotion raises are primarily composed with stocks that do not vest until after a year and the salary increase is minimal The hardest was the demanding hours for salary exempt having to fill business needs and fill in regularly having to work 12-14 hours regularly even on normal days and potentially more during peak which made work life balancing so hard Conflicting or sometimes contradicting communication from the different departments I.E Safety ,HR and Operations Lateral movement is nigh impossible without some higher up already established having your back College hire program while good Led to over staffing which led to poor training (your onsite team that you would work with are the only one who will train you if they have the time)

Communicate clearly and realistically both during the hire process as well as when changes are made

Pros: The work has a big impact on the customer and seller experience. There are large, complex problems to solve.
Cons: The majority of the tools we use are bespoke to Amazon and they tend to be underdeveloped, making routine work frustrating and more time consuming than it should be.

Foster opportunities for people to collaborate and work together and not against each other to make progress towards common goals.

Pros: The Education benefits! Amazon will pay (at the time of writing this) $4,500 per year for schooling at accredited schools, and they don't expect to be reimbursed or the education to apply towards their industry!
Cons: As a former PA (Process assistant) I was assigned to watch employees work floors while they picked and packed. Amazon will track and categorize what you are doing down to the literal minute. This isn't typically an issue unless you can't stay at your assigned workstation for the full shift (less breaks). A LOT of people get promoted to customer because of this. Also the work is easy but very monotonous.

Pros: Good environment that motivates you to work.
Cons: Break rooms can be a little far away depending on your department.

The managers here were pretty cool but they could listen to suggestions more.

Pros: Optional Overtime Can really leave whenever you want Can come in whenever you want You get a lil 10 percent off on the Amazon store
Cons: Work load can be hard To be able to leave whenever you want & etc you gotta put in the hours to get the hours to f* around ( might not be a con to you it’s not really one to me ) We gotta pay for the snacks and stuff out the break room but if we win an incentive on the floor they give us Amazon bucks ….. so we get it for free when we should already get it for free

Some of them was once an employee but don’t even act like it , put yourself in your employees shoes . Half of them did that well though the other half not so much

Pros: processes and resources are in place to make magic happen if you're ready to be on around the clock or have the guts to dream out loud and push back/move blockers out of the way.
Cons: leadership in place forever has lost touch with the realities of needing compensation to survive in the world; they give "you should feel lucky to be here vibes" vs "we should be lucky to have you' vibes. Where my mindset is, if being great means getting kudos for working nights and weekends, lets make sure im compensated enough to order my breakfast/lunch/dinner and for someone to clean my place in lieu of me having the time to do it

if you want to bring in more lower level employees to make up for the bottle neck of high to mid level leaders dying for a promo in less than 4 years, start considering profesional development programs to attract this level of employment. Interns in positions for 3 months get more guidance than full time entry level employees. Also like your fictional neighbors at Grey's Anatomy, consider being a 'teaching hospital' not a 'figure out/sink or swim' institution with the largest network of affinity groups but no care or concern to make sure diverse voices are being heard, promoted, or seen/ not layered in levels of management who don't care to develop people

Pros: If you love a fast paced environment this job is for you. Physically demanding position.
Cons: Training variations. Employees entering the workforce may not be fully trained, and therefore you need a lot of assistance in addition to management daily duties. This is a physically demanding position. Employee should be prepared and informed before they enter the workplace.

Inform candidates for the physical demand. It would be beneficial to offer a physical trainer prior to and during initial work assignment. Amazon could afford incentives to employees,to get physical trainers.

Pros: Good pay, can use time off almost whenever if you had it. Great onboarding and training.
Cons: I barely had energy after work for my own life, and mandatory overtime constantly pushed into my school life as a student. I was put in charge of someone else that wouldn’t do the bare minimum on my first day.

    Salary - A | Culture - F | Management - F | Coworkers - F

Pros: depending on the site your assigned too along with long term placement on site, can be a steady and casual job, excellent benefits with lots of extras. generous vacation time, sick time and unpaid time accumulation.
Cons: generally clueless and demoralizing upper management, my site got a new GM and head of HR that significantly degraded overal morale, performance and overall trust in them, makes up pointless policies and detrimental and counterproductive changes to worksite performance appease corporates demands. people witth disabilities are often mistreated and misunderstood, lack of respect.

upper management needs to prioritize their lower level employees, just because level 1's are easily replicable doesn't mean they should be openly regarded and treated as such, overall disappointing and infuriating business practices enforced with an iron fist, with no exceptions for anyone, or anything. at the end of the day, paychecks and performance metrics are all that matters to them.

Pros: 4 day work week, 3 days off Salary was nice and compensating Stocks vested every 3,6, or 9 months Great opportunity for advancement if you're in operations.
Cons: Overworked, you're paid base salary regardless of the hours worked. Sometimes worked 13/14 hour days Standing wayyyy too much Short staffed in management and continuing to cut positions

Be sure you are vocal but in a smart way that works for you. You're a salaried leader so spend your time efficiently and wisely.
