    Pros: #NAME?
    Cons: #NAME?

Stop being so political. Listen to your rank-and-file, not the "senior" leaders who are only advancing their own career without care for anyone around them. Stop trying to replace people with AI, by cutting people you are also cutting the economy. The world follows large companies like Dell, and their attempts to become as "lean" as possible are contributing to our ongoing economic collapses.

  • Chaos & Busy work - no ability to build skillsPrincipal Technology Architect |

Pros: Initially seemed like a company with an important mission and seeming good strategy.
Cons: Reality - everyone is just scrambling to do reactive work. Some very incompetent technology managers just doing whatever they think will allow them to keep their jobs since the company has many layoffs.

Let employees contribute and do good work. There are some great employees but they don't get to add value and either leave or are laid off. The company is constantly laying off people, it's a way of life. So even if you have a job you wonder when it will be done.

Cons: Large company can be difficult to navigate corporate culture.

Breakdown silos between various business lines.

  • Above average for a large tech company, with some flawsSenior Manager of Design | Round Rock, TX

    Salary - A | Culture - B | Management - A | Coworkers - B

    Pros: #NAME?
Cons: - Brutal, blunt workforce reduction practices cut great talent - Such a large workforce that people are just number (and cost drivers) to the company, not individuals - Shareholder value is the ultimate goal, not employee happiness or work-life balance - inefficient, clunky decision-making processes drain time, energy, and money - strategically conservative, adverse to change, lags behind competitors in software innovation - ethics code doesn't align with corporate decisions when it comes to growth and profitability (e.g., broken promises about remote work) - high tolerance for toxic management and nepotism

Do a better job of living your culture code. Keep the promises you make to your employees. Find ways to grow and maintain profit without repeated cycles of scaling up and shedding headcount. Embrace innovation, especially in software.

Pros: Great place to work with excellent work-life balance and inspiring leadership. The company truly values its employees, offering flexible schedules that help maintain a healthy balance between work and personal life. The leadership team is knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely invested in the growth and success of each individual. There are numerous opportunities for professional development, and the culture encourages collaboration and innovation. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fulfilling career in a supportive environment The only reason why I no longer work here bc of COVId
Cons: No cons at least from my experience

    Salary - A | Culture - D | Management - A | Coworkers - D

Pros: The people - you get to work with some of the best people around Pay and Benefits - Good pay and solid benefits
Cons: Constant layoffs every single quarter - always a fear your job could be next, and eventually it will be your turn Overworked employees - All the work the people that get laid off, their work will fall to the employees left over Shrinking career opportunities - consequence of role elimination, layoffs Disconnected Senior Management - Many decisions made at the higher levels that will leave you scratching your head

Need to stop with layoffs every few months, people do not do their best work in an environment where they are constantly fearing for their jobs. Get on the front lines more often and see where the business is succeeding and struggling vs. just making high level decisions that will further deteriorate business performance.
