Pros: A lot of project types to explore, many cross-sector and cross-functional opportunities, and a heavy emphasis on innovative tech.
Cons: Utilization is the top metric for success as a senior, and with a goal of 85%, it is tough to reach unless you stick to one path and project type. Here you have to choose between having a diverse experience (across project types and sub-teams) and scoring well/ being on the path to promotion. you can't have both.
Unless all BD work is assigned to a dedicated/off-shore team, I would recommend creating alternative metrics of success to utilization for seniors, and allow for upward mobility of folks who have exhibited the initiative to broaden their experience here.
