Pros: If you are patient and are willing to chip away at big problems, this can be a great place. If you are determined to speed run the levels and be a super high performer, you may feel under appreciated; if you are trying to relax and do nothing this may not work out for you either. It’s a place built for the long run. Love remote working!
Cons: Pay is less than competitors; we get remote work though.

Keep remote! It’s by far my favorite part.

Pros: The benefits are amazing. Work-life balance is nice. PTO and sick leave 👌. My team was amazing. I absolutely loved my job. Mental health is important here, to a point...
Cons: Mental health is important until the lay offs. Many in my area were laid off due to no longer needing our business. It was unorganized and quite traumatic. I just feel that with all that education and best practices, that this could have been done much better, especially under the current economical climate we are facing with people already struggling and stressed.

Layoffs are understandable, but these are people who gave to your company, and most really cared about their work. They deserved a better layoff experience to say the least. Maybe look into making this a specialty? Layoff specialists who are trained in empathy, tact, giving all of the information correctly and gently. People should at least be trained in this if that's part of their job description, especially considering how heavy the experience is going to affect the people.
