Pros: good pay with to and fro cab facility Great benefits and PTO with paid holidays. Remote work from home and schedule management is great as well Training was great.
Cons: low pay; mismatch between participants scheduled and the scope of the programs horrible benefits Unrealistic expectations (call volume) and poor management. Poor training Disconnect between teams Reviews do no reflect actual duties Lack of advancement opportunities Expected to wear too many 'hats'

It's a bit pricy overall out of pocket. Health insurance coverage could certainly be better. The amount of PTO granted is reasonable especially after you hit five years. However sick days and vacation are all in one bucket and depending on the state you live in you don't get PTO paid out when you leave the company. Premiums and cost share is very expensive. Horrendous medical coverage.

Pros: good pay with to and fro cab facility Great benefits and PTO with paid holidays. Flexible work from home options. management is great as well Great training and company resources.
Cons: low pay; mismatch between participants scheduled and the scope of the programs No benefits like PTO since I am a contractor with Judge Group Unrealistic expectations (call volume) and poor management. Poor training Disconnect between teams Reviews do no reflect actual duties Lack of advancement opportunities Expected to wear too many 'hats'

The best thing is the fact that I received 12 weeks paid maternity leave after having my baby in addition to accumulating a great amount of PTO I was able to use as extended PTO if need be. 401 k is good match Expensive insurance . You are treated like a robot calling allll day they want volume not quality

Pros: Optum has some really good employees to work with and they are more than willing to help you out. It's really the "lifeblood" of the company that keeps things moving.
Cons: Procedures and processes are CONSTANTLY changing which makes everything difficult to keep up with. You waste time tracking down resources for answers while trying to discover what changed. This is encompassed by a 100x faster leadership mantra. It's like being asked to swim faster in a swimming meet after finding out last minute they've moved the pool and are tying weights to your feet.

Create solid effective corporate procedures and processes to handle your workload and then leave them alone! Control the urge to constantly change everything all the time (the acronym revolving door). People are just getting acclimated to the current processes when new ones are being pushed out. It's very confusing.

Cons: low pay; mismatch between participants scheduled and the scope of the programs Ironically insurance benefits are poor and expensive. Work from home metric minimal cost of living raise Unrealistic expectations (call volume) and poor management. Poor training for the mental health side.

Best: PTO health insurance Worst: health insurance premium The company offers great work life balance the health insurance is expensive but the company offers incentives to offset this. Also the company offers many perks for its employees Health insurance coverage could certainly be better. The amount of PTO granted is reasonable especially after you hit five years. Salary - F | Culture - D | Management - B | Coworkers - C

Pros: Optum can be great if you are looking for a company that just plugs along, has no real innovative work, easy place to kind of just disappear into the corporate chaos.
Cons: Constant organizational changes, meeting to talk about meetings, you can start projects but they will never get finished or launched. Benefits are embarrassing, salaries are midwestern, and feel way below scale. Bonuses dwindled, equity is non-existent even for a Director level.

Keep doing what you are doing and you'll continue never to attract any top talent.

    Salary - | Culture - | Management - | Coworkers - C

Pros: The small team I'm on has a great culture, and my manager is incredibly supportive. I think the larger company wants to be impactful and valuable to patients. Management is mindful of employee experience and feedback.
Cons: Working for a parent company like this means being part of the American health care system, which feels incredibly broken. All of the employees want to do good in the world, but it can be hard when the business goals are focused on driving as much profit as possible.

It's hard to see/hear the (very valid) complaints patients have, from a lack of timely appointments to unresponsive service when dealing with billing errors.

    Salary - C | Culture - B | Management - C | Coworkers - B

Pros: Able to be involved in many passion projects if you choose to do so; good work life balance. Pay is good and exposure to industry with US clients Benefits are good and they are large Good management and people eccentric Great company and people are all great
Cons: For few proj work is to much where we need to extend and no work life balance for women employees 3. Low pay and no room to negotiate if you make lateral salary grade moves. There are no benefits provided like free meal apart from free cab and internet reimbursement. If you end up on a bad team with bad management it is a hell. People here are rude.

The best thing is the fact that I received 12 weeks paid maternity leave after having my baby in addition to accumulating a great amount of PTO I was able to use as extended PTO if need be. 401 k is good match Okay benefits. I have had better with other companies

    Salary - D | Culture - D | Management - F | Coworkers - D

Pros: My team is really great. Smart people who are kind and care about their work and the customer. -opportunity to work on products that affect millions of people -fully remote -interesting and impactful problems to solve
Cons: -massive company with antiquated and inefficient systems that are hard to update. I'm a trans person who hasn't changed their name and Optum shows my legal (deadname] everywhere. I have colleages that deadname me by accident and despite being asked not to. Its not actively hostile but the result of neglect - draconian security policies that result it inefficient work. Im a hiring manager for designers and optum blocks designer portfolios. - if you want to move fast and break things, this is not the place for you

My managers and their managers are great. I have no insight into the levels above that, but it doesn't feel like those leaders are advocating for employees or their concerns.
