Pros: PwC has an amazing reputation and the top leadership is strong. Benefits are very good and pay is competitive.
Cons: Just too many complicated processes and systems to navigate on a daily basis. It was challenging to be effective and meet objectives and to ensure the team was doing the same. There is often a lot of conflict between practices and rather than focus on what is best for the client, each practice is simply grabbing as much revenue as they can.
Someone really needs to analyze the daily employee experience in order to fully understand the challenges employees face every day.

Pros: Big company with a prominent brand. Decent experience with large and prominent clients.
Cons: Lack of focus on culture by the overall practice. Business unit was extremely large making it hard for the business to focus on its people. Many folks tend to feel like little fish lost in the big ocean, get overworked and end up just leaving.

Pros: You will not find a company that will give you as much boar experience and opportunities as PwC. I would recommend anyone with an opportunity to work there, do it, but just know you will work hard!
Cons: If you are a top performer, you will be asked to work more and more. Expect to work 50+ hours a week. Expect to be contacted / work on your vacation or holiday breaks.
Listen to your employees. When they ask for help, don't wait till they are burned out before you decide to give it to them. Your utilization expectations are ridiculous! There is no way to work a normal work week, take holidays and/or vacations and expect to meet utilizations.

The employee discount program may nit be that beneficial Medical & dental benefits are ok not great. The cost is high especially for those with families. 401K match is the same as in other Big4 firms but PwC also contributes to an additional retirement account. The time off between vacation and holidays is generous. I like that it was not unlimited since it encourages everyone to actually take time off. I also like the little extras like having a paid subscription to Headspace and the ability to get licenses to various professional development learning platforms. The weakest part of the benefits package is the low 401k match which is supposed to be offset by Wealth Builder. I wish they just did a more generous 401k match.

Cons: The project work was just not good and I didnt work with anyone from my office

Pros: I gained invaluable experience and developed a wide range of skills that I likely wouldn’t have gained elsewhere. I had the opportunity to work alongside highly skilled professionals who genuinely care about their teams and their work. I was able to build meaningful relationships with leaders, contribute to building practice groups, and make progress that I’m proud of. Ultimately, I felt valued for who I was, both personally and professionally, by many of the partners I worked with.
Cons: Unfortunately, I had to work under a micromanager who lacked the ability to lead or coach effectively. She focused on insignificant details that didn’t impact the bigger picture, constantly criticized, and offered no room for actual productivity. Her unpredictable behavior and relentless need for control made it difficult to feel any sense of progress, and it wasn’t just me—other colleagues and even partners had similar complaints. Despite these challenges, I did have positive interactions with other leaders who were supportive, but my experience was overshadowed by this toxic management style.
