Pros: You learn a lot regarding bank security & card member security, Being able to help the most vulnerable to fraud is very rewarding. You eventually get to work from home.
Cons: They FORCE you to consider them your "family"; however they are a company first people. I had a family member at end stage cancer and was told "we all go through hard times. Life goes on and the business needs to keep moving". Training is a joke. The UM's constantly came in to either gossip or tear us down "just do your job and you won't be fired" We weren't allowed to take notes during training, the UMs gossiped and interrupted the class numerous times. It was an all around terrible experience. Our office was this way and I certainly hope other Cit locations aren't like this.

Stop promoting your friends. You're building bullies and outcasting people with actual talent. Modify the KPI's for fraud and listen to us when you're giving us our 1:1. You ask us if we have questions or concerns but you stomp us down with, "yeah, but that's just how it is". Also stop marking us NCNS just because we are a couple of minutes off your radar. It's hard to push forward on a 10 hour shift knowing full well you aren't getting paid for the day because a UM thought it was too much trouble to message or call you before marking you a NCNS for the day

Pros: Good benefits, can be steady, they will cater food onsite but lacking vegan options. Good pathways for opportunities. Fair compensation for work life balance, they made sure you were paid for any extra minute of work.
Cons: Communication is clunky between management and employees. We had a supervisor consistently raising expectations for performance. Many people were fired because of it, and our position was listed as hiring for less pay than when I was hired. It seemed like they were trying to squeeze out the people who got raises for new hires that were paid less.

Communication of deadlines, shift bids, and other things that would affect an employee’s daily life.
