Pros: Very competitive pay and great benefits due to being a bargaining unit position with union negotiated pay and benefits.
Cons: These activities were never revealed during job interviews ir in the published job description. Very unorganized and inept management who blame employees for their lack of organization and communication skills. Unless you are a political activist and want to promote politicians and attend political rally's and pickets and be forced to attend senate hearings avoid working for any union.
Health Ins here is one of the best and cheapest in Ohio. Great coverage and low co-pays. 2 weeks sick accrual per 2 paid personal days and great vaca time. Max is 6 weeks a year. Also company paid Life Ins up to a certain amount. Provides great benefits and cost for employees Good benefit package and time off
