Pros: It's a job good for entry level with little to no experience. Thanks for the job opportunity
Cons: The Pay, The micromanagement, Favortism, The SME picks and chooses to help and seems to always have an attitude. When I decide to leave it's mainly because of management and the low pay. I Regret taking full-time at Cognizant. I've been in the CSR industry for over 10 years and not being paid for experience is a cheat and insulting. Everyone starts entry-level regardless of background. So why did I get hired based on my "excellent resume and background"Bringing home a little over 1k every two weeks doing one of the most difficult jobs there, is hard to understand. I had a manager call me talking a little slick with me, I didn't say anything but I definitely noticed. For the most part I do my job, stay quiet and end my day. I appreciate who appreciates me and what I can bring as an individual and team player.

Pros: Working at Cognizant offers several benefits. The company provides global opportunities, allowing employees to work on international projects and collaborate with diverse teams. There are ample chances for career growth through various training programs, helping employees advance their skills and progress in their careers. Cognizant also offers competitive salaries, performance bonuses, and comprehensive benefits like health insurance. The company supports a healthy work-life balance by offering flexible work options, including remote work. Employees gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies in areas such as AI, cloud computing, and data analytics. With its strong reputation and stability, Cognizant provides a secure work environment. Additionally, the company fosters a diverse and inclusive workplace, promoting an atmosphere where all employees can thrive.
Cons: Working at Cognizant Technology Solutions comes with its challenges, as reported by employees. Many cite concerns about heavy workloads and extended hours, which can affect work-life balance. Additionally, compensation and benefits, including salary increments and bonuses, are often perceived as being below industry standards. Career growth and promotion processes have also drawn criticism for lacking transparency and being delayed. Issues with management, such as micromanagement and insufficient communication, have been highlighted, along with occasional concerns about job security, particularly during organizational restructuring. While these challenges may vary depending on role and location, they are important considerations for prospective employees.

Pros: Potentially you get to work on different types of projects.
Cons: - asked multiple people multiple times whether I had to be in person to start. Was told by some people they weren't sure and some said I had to move immediately, only to find out I had 6 weeks of online training first. - You have to find a project yourself, or get let go after a year. If you have been on a project and it ends, you only have 7 weeks to find a new one (with absolutely ZERO help) or get fire. - switched my manager 2 or 3 times within two years, which was fine because they would not answer my messages anyway

Pros: My time at cognizant offered me numerous opportunities for professional development and learning. Ongoing training and personal development is a huge tenant for the technology projects where I was assigned. Further, Cognizant covered renewal costs for my technology certificates. I enjoyed that they had a huge portfolio of clients which would allow associates. From this portfolio I joined a group of IT Project Managers that allowed us to bridge the community gap we faced as a remote organization. That community was very helpful and greatly benefited my professional development.
Cons: Every system and process at Cognizant was overburdened by checks and balances. This is a symptom of people abusing the system - if there was a way to cut corners or cheat, it was soon discovered and a process was put in place that protected the company and burdened to loyal employee with more paperwork, additional approval requests, etc. For the projects where I was assigned, al Financial and Payables work was assigned to teams overseas so it was hard to connect groups. (The Payables group and FInancial group was completely separate AND they were each overseas making it hard to connect with them during overlap business hours).

Pros: Nothing I am seeing and feeling besides providing a job for you.
Cons: short notice to travel, travel for thanksgiving week (staying in hotel for thanksgiving), Christmas week and new year day week. Management chaos. ( I have 4 managers need to report directly , not mention other 2 to prove your weekly timesheet) They just want you to be ready and work 24 hours per day.

Follow the US labor working laws and have some common sense for work and life balance. don't treat people as a cheap dumb. Don't discriminate other people if he is not an Indian.

Pros: It is a remote job
Cons: I was only in my role for 10 months and my manager quit and stated he hated his boss when I first joined. The team would scream at each other and had 0 team/company morale I saw more tears from employees than smiles.you also a certain level of service from IT depending on your title. So they take longer to respond if you’re a lower level contributor to the business.

Get better management and make a point to build team engagement. It’s

Pros: Good exposure with clients Extends your tech base Encourages you to do certifications Get opportunity to handle entire project without any day-to-day reporting to manager (or micro-management of any kind) Colleagues are very helpful and understanding
Cons: Employees are sometimes taken advantage of when it comes to pay/promotions, no matter how your performance has been No proper management in place Highly unreliable with any VISA situation Unethical practices in top tier client projects to keep a project Low-Average pay and no work life balance

Please follow up with new joinees as managers are too busy to give time but in time of a bad situation, like to blame the associate if things have gone awry. Please put proper VISA notifications for employee so concerned teams follow up and not the manager as they are clueless and they put you in for a toss on what happens next with you Unethical practices from management can be seen at top tier client projects

Pros: It's difficult to think of one.
Cons: After being absorbed by Cognizant, we were assured that no one would be at risk of losing their jobs and that, if necessary, they would find us other positions within the company. However, during my time there, employees were laid off in waves. If you want to feel like just a number on a spreadsheet rather than a valued individual, this is the place for you. I was among those laid off, and shortly after, I received an email from Cognizant stating they had found my information on a job board and thought I would be a good fit for their company. This demonstrated just how disorganized and, at times, heartless the company truly is. Some of their policies were also quite unreasonable, such as requiring 48-hour notice before calling in sick if you didn’t want your absence counted against you. The hiring process was equally nightmarish, feeling more like applying for a government position than a corporate job. Many of my coworkers had their verification documents repeatedly rejected for who knows what reason. It’s worth noting again that we had been absorbed by Cognizant and were not new hires. I have worked for questionable companies in the past, but Cognizant stands out as the worst place I’ve ever been employed. It's perplexing that they've received awards for being a great workplace when, during my time there, we were treated like nothing more than sheep.

Treat your employees as human beings with lives and families to support.

    Salary - C | Culture - F | Management - F | Coworkers - D

Pros: CTS offers training opportunities and the ability to work remote.
Cons: Being on the bench is one of the main reasons I would not recommend CTS. Additionally, language can present a significant barrier, as most training opportunities are tailored for those living in India. Senior managers often lack respect for employees, with many avoiding personal accountability by not turning on their cameras or displaying their photos during meetings. Unfortunately, some managers also engage in bullying behavior. Collaboration between employees can be challenging, as workers from India often prefer to work together rather than collaborating with American colleagues. Lastly, functional requirements for clients are poorly tracked and frequently misunderstood, leading to inefficiencies and frustrations.
