Pros: Management are approachable and easy to talk to. I have been given the opportunity to learn and grow and couldn't be happier being a part of the Empire team. My coworkers are amazing and some of the most talented intelligent people I've ever met. Good work/life balance Competitive pay
Cons: Lack of advancement and pay (maxed out after 3 years with no or minimal raises: I being there for 5 years made $0.37 less an hr than someone with 25 years) no regard for union employee health and well being or safety management is incompetent and has no idea how poorly lines run due to poor planning and design and/or lack of parts (even before supply chain issues due to covid) company uses underhanded tactics to cheat union workers out vacation time incentive pay and raises in wages (during contract negotiations) ignores ideas for improvement in production and quality by union employees and treats them all like they're stupid too much of a rumor mill ignores the lazy workers and expects the hard working union members to do the jobs of multiple people. Limited opportunities to develop professionally

good vacation right from the start Not enough vacation two weeks for lower level and three for management. Takes years of working there before getting a bump up in vacation Don't expect a career or growth here
