Pros: Better work life balance as normally they don't assign any work during first few months. Good culture basically no psycho Directors / Partners unlike the big 4 where I have had the misfortune to encounter many. You can also really see that the firm cares about people and wants them to exceed. Good growth and career development.
Cons: Salary isn't as good as you'll find at other big firms but work/life balance makes up for that. It's very rare that I work with my team regularly in the office and find that Grant Thornton is slowly losing its culture and employee engagement seems to be at an all time low. Low pay and ridiculous workload
