8. Helps you work on perfecting your charm. You will learn from the most charming people how to really get people to like you.
9. HR really cares.
10. Big support network (IT, creative services, etc.).
11. Teaches you to be calm and in control.
Cons: If you are lucky enough to be in the right position, the right industry at the right time, you can get substantial compensation. HPE relies of 30-40 customers that do their regular hardware refreshs every few years. If you happen to be part of the refresh, you are doing well. I liked the CEO, he is trying. But not sure if he is connected enough to the lower management. He needs to be focused on pleasing the shareholders. HPE stocks have not done very well in 2024.
Look also into upper management when doing your annual WFRS (work force reductions). They are playing a big role in some strategy failures. Too many of them are 'content-free', only manage up and would not survive long in other companies.

Hold senior management to a higher standard and stop micro managing SA's. We spend most of our time doing the job of marketing as marketing is so inept.
