Pros: PTO Benefits Work & Life Balance Good Pay Great Benefits Long training to mess around in and make friends (or enemies)
Cons: Pay is competitive for the area but if you WFH in a high COL area it does not go far. The benefits are not terrible but they can be much better. Bad training and even worse dedicated unit training. Had 3 different managers within 1 year of working. LACK OF COMMUNICATION POOR TIME MANAGEMENT AND ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE.
The vacation time is great and you can carry over 10 days of unused PTO In my opinion the benefits package was great. Highmark also has a wellness rewards program for their employees. As long as you complete the few steps you receive $ back in your pay check to help cover the cost of your premium. It's mediocre for being a health insurance company
