Pros: The have good pay and benefits Great Pay Many coworkers with deep knowledge and experience about operating transit
Cons: There is no employee parking anywhere so commutes are quite long and you are often exposed to seedy people on the trains and in the stations. Toxic work culture Poor management Not for railroad purists
vacation days come with years of service1 year - 5 days of vacation per year5 years - 10 days of vacation 10 days of sick per year10 years - 15 days of vacation 15 days of sick15 years - 20 days of vacation 20 days of sick per year20 years - an additional day a year added to 20 days of vacation 20 days of sick per year ( I believe) It's a place to retire not to learn new things. The pension plan is no longer offered to new employees.
