Pros
The people - you get to work with some of the best people around Pay and Benefits - Good pay and solid benefits
Cons
Constant layoffs every single quarter - always a fear your job could be next, and eventually it will be your turn Overworked employees - All the work the people that get laid off, their work will fall to the employees left over Shrinking career opportunities - consequence of role elimination, layoffs Disconnected Senior Management - Many decisions made at the higher levels that will leave you scratching your head
Comments
Need to stop with layoffs every few months, people do not do their best work in an environment where they are constantly fearing for their jobs. Get on the front lines more often and see where the business is succeeding and struggling vs. just making high level decisions that will further deteriorate business performance.

Pros: Good benefits, 2 IVF cycles covered, 16 weeks paid parental leave, can take up to 4 additional out of PTO. Sharp coworkers. Good work life balance for the pay.
Cons: The reversal of Michael Dell's 2022 "work from anywhere, remote work is here to stay" to 2024 not allowing remote workers to change jobs or pursue promotions is gut punch for my career. Also Dell has laid off 20,000 people in 2024 and not issued any public statements or statements within the company fro C-level on why. Honestly 1 year ago I would have had a glowing review, this has all changed in 2024.
