Infosys Employee Review

2nd Interview

  • Sunday, December 15, 2024
  • Sunnyvale, CA

Pros

Interviews are fairly simple and focus on the main topics of your resume. If you have Java, you might be asked questions on the 4 pillars of Java, and explain them. So as long as you know the core concepts in your resume, you should be ok.

Cons

You might be asked to learn multiple technologies for a specific role that you do not end up in. You are also expected to move to a different state for a role if you are a good fit.

Pros: The work environment was very good. The managers I worked with were awesome. They encourage you to do more stuff and help us in learning and growing in terms of work
Cons: In grown talents are not given any importance financially. They make you work more and more but end up paying higher salaries to new people joining the company. The people at the top management are all becoming richer and richer day by day without even being on billable roles. The folks who are on billable roles are all given hikes like 1% once in 2 years. They think that sending employees to US and UK satisfies an employee but they fail to understand that if you don't pay the right salary to your employees, they will be living the life of a beggar in a foreign country. The salary is so low, you have to live paycheck to paycheck and at times even use up your hard earned savings just because the company gave you THE GREATEST OPPORTUNITY to travel onshore.

A number of top management folks who do not have any billing keeps giving advice to all the people, keeps travelling to US in business class whereas they do not give permission to a JL6 employee to travel onshore for a billable role. Advice to management: Cut down these travel expenses and give good hikes to employees who want to stick to the company. Otherwise good talents will leave the organisation.

    Pros: #NAME?
Cons: - Opportunities for internal promotions are scarce - Extremely difficult to secure meaningful salary increases after being hired - The company does not provide routine salary adjustments based on market conditions or employee performance - The health insurance offerings are below industry standards - The company’s internal systems and platforms are often slow, outdated, and prone to glitches, leading to frustration and reduced productivity for employees. - For U.S.-based employees, the per diem rates for travel are among the lowest in the industry - Employees frequently encounter delays and complications when submitting travel expenses for reimbursement - You are truly a number here - Make sure to get everything in writing, I was told i got 20 days of PTO in interview and only received 13, told bonus was paid out 100% all the time and i have never received a 100% bonus payout, etc.
